Frequently Asked Questions

The BodyTech Method

1. What is the BodyTech Method?

The BodyTech Method is an advanced biomechanics based dance training system focused on flexibility, strength, stability, control, and technical refinement.

This is not a basic conditioning class. It is a structured, progressive training system designed to elevate dancers at a professional level through precise execution and corrective detail.

2. Who are these classes for?

BodyTech is designed for serious dancers who want elite level refinement.

• Ages 5 to 8 may enroll in Mini specific classes only
• Ages 9 and older may enroll in all in person and Zoom classes
• Advanced refinement classes are not for beginners

If a dancer is not yet at the required technical level, we recommend private training to build them up properly before joining shared or advanced sessions.

3. Do you offer beginner classes?

No.

We do not slow down advanced classes for intermediate or beginner dancers. If your dancer is not technically prepared, we offer one on one sessions to develop the required foundation first.

4. What is included in the In Person Unlimited Subscription?

In Person Unlimited allows your dancer to take as many in person classes as listed on the current schedule.

• Age restrictions apply
• Missed classes do not roll over
• Subscription is month to month

Schedules are updated regularly and must be followed according to age and level.

5. What is included in the Zoom Subscription?

Zoom subscriptions provide access to scheduled Zoom classes based on your selected plan.

• Live advanced training
• Access to structured BodyTech programming
• Large competitive Zoom team environment

Zoom classes are treated with the same standard as in person sessions. Cameras must be on and dancers must follow corrections.

6. Can missed classes be credited or rolled over?

No.

Missed classes do not transfer into credits and cannot be applied to future months. Subscriptions secure your dancer’s placement in the program.

7. Are materials required?

Yes.

The BodyTech Method revolves around proprietary and selected training tools. Training without materials limits results and slows progress.

Materials may include:

• Resistance bands
• Toe Bands
• Footbands
• Sliders
• Ankle weights
• Yoga padding
• Chair

All recommended materials are listed on bodytech.bio.

8. What if my dancer struggles in a group session?

If a dancer is consistently holding the group back, we will recommend private training before re entering shared sessions.

Group training requires a certain level of physical maturity, technical understanding, and focus. Age and discipline are significant factors.

9. How do shared privates work?

Shared privates allow dancers of similar level to train together at a more accessible rate.

• Strong competitive environment
• Faster growth through peer pressure
• Encourages dancers to push outside comfort zones

Shared placements are assigned strategically.

10. Can my studio restrict my dancer from training elsewhere?

Dancers are athletes. Cross training is essential for growth. External conditioning and biomechanics training enhances studio performance and reduces injury risk.

If contractual concerns arise, consult your studio agreement directly.

11. How do I confirm or manage my sessions?

• Confirm weekly sessions when prompted
• Respect strike policy
• Late cancellations may result in loss of slot

Shared and private slots are in high demand. Inconsistent attendance may result in reallocation.

12. What makes BodyTech different?

• Biomechanics driven
• Over 1700 evolving exercises
• Precision correction
• Injury prevention focus
• Elite standard accountability
